The corporate governance framework of Godrej Properties is based on an effective independent board and separation
of the Board's supervisory role from the executive management team. The Board has twelve directors,
out of which six are independent directors with distinguished careers in government, academia,
and business. In recognition of GPL's strong corporate governance practices,
Accommodation Times presented Godrej Properties with the 'Corporate
Governance of the Year' award in the year 2008.
